A group of hospitaleros, with the company of supporting volunteers, started the pilgrimage in Puente la Reina and during a week we became pilgrims and arrived to Logroño.

This initiative allows us to have experiences to share with the pilgrims that arrive to our hostel, and therefore we have a better knowledge and we are able to give better advice about the stages that await pilgrims after Estella. 

As one of our hospitaleras said: "Now it will be easier to put myself in their place and help them better". Undoubtedly, on the Way we learnt from the nature and from anyone we met on the way. We have learnt and lived the sense of sharing, devotion, suffering, comradeship, tolerance... We have learnt to value all the things we have in our daily life but most of the times we forget. In short, the Way found a place in our backpacks and our lives, and changed us little by little. 

"Glances at the Way", as we defined this experience, is a big initiative of inclusion and social participation: two of the biggest aims in our association; this is why, and due to the good results, we will go on this year. We all have a goal in our mind, and we hope to achieve it in the future: reaching Santiago de Compostela!
